Viewpoint Windegg in the Tamina Valley

In the Tamina Valley, along the road between Pfäfers and Vadura, there is an information point for the UNESCO World Heritage Tectonic Arena Sardona on a terrace on the hillside. It is a popular vantage point because of the fantastic view of the Glarus Thrust on the Wildseehörner, into the Tamina Valley and into the Tamina Gorge. In addition to comfortable seating and loungers, creatively designed information boards, viewing guides and a boulder to climb on invite you to linger.

A visit to this information point can be combined with a visit to the earthquake exhibition in Vättis.
