Segnesböden
Even if you regularly visit the upper or lower Segnesboden, you will have a different sight to look at every time. The streams on the two plateaus constantly change their course. New lakes are created and disappear after a while. Parts of the lower Segnesboden have also been declared fens and moorlands of national importance. The former mountain valley north of the Segneshütte was filled with the rubble that the mountain streams brought. This is how the extraordinarily valuable natural landscape was created.
The Segnesböden can be reached from Flims or Laax via Naraus, Grauberg or Alp Nagens (Nagens shuttle from Laax). A visit to the World Heritage Pavilion at the Segneshütte is recommended.
