Earthquake exhibition Vättis
Among other things, the exhibition deals with possible future earthquakes in these cantons and the effects of severe earthquakes in the Sardona World Heritage region. The connection between earthquakes and the formation of mountains, especially the Alps, is also discussed. A highlight of the exhibition is the live transmission of recordings from seismic stations of the Swiss Seismological Service. In addition to this exhibition, selected elements of the exhibition “unvorherSehbar (unforeSeeable) – Earthquakes in Switzerland” will be shown in a second room.
